About the Poet

Poetry plays a very important role in my life. I've always loved poetry. Anytime I'm feeling grief, frustration or even hapiness poetry allows me to release those feelings.

LoveHatePoetry.com has been a dream of mine since I was a little girl. This site has definitely evolved over the years... the first version was called Tales From the Heart and was created during my college years (2001-2005). I'm happy I've been able to keep this dream alive!

In the past year or two I've been trying to take poetry to the next level with freestyle poetry. It's so much fun challenging my mind to rhyme words on the fly. Add some tunes in the background and it's even better :)
